Eating smaller portions and exercise its a good idea, BUT I lost 20 punds in 3 months by also drinking a V8 before my meals so that I was already kinda full. I also drank one if I had a snack attack. If you like V8's I highly recommend this, becuz there are no side effects like from diet pills that supress your hunger. If you don't like V8, I heard you can also do the same thing with water. Drink a glass of water before every meal. And if you drink the recommended amount of water a day it will help your skin, organs and weight. Good luck and do it wisely. =)

Maybe you should try fasting. It is definitely the fastest way to lose weight.... and it can be done safely and it can actually benefit your health if you do it right. You should see your doctor first and make sure you are healthy before you start, though. If you google "fasting" you'll be in the right direction and you can do a little research so you know how to start and stop without harming your digestive tract. I fast regularly and I always lose about 2-3 pounds per day. Of course it all comes back very quickly if I get too reckless afterwards so be sure to take your time reintroducing pizza and chips, etc.

There are 3500 calories in 1 pound. Therefore, to lose 10 - 15 pounds means to create a caloric deficit of 35000 - 52,500 calories in a month. That averages out to 1167 - 1750 calories a day you need to cut IF YOU DO NOTHING ELSE. If you bump up your exercise, you can reduce the caloric deficit. How much the exericise will contribute to the weight loss is dependent upon your resting metabolic rate, current weight and height.

I started watching my calories. I only ate like a thousand a day and lost five pounds in a week. I cut out all pop--even diet and just drank water. Just be sure to get enough protien so you don't feel sick. I ate peanuts--unsalted as a snack and that gave me a extra protien and an engery boost--Good luck to you!

Well, 10 to 15 pounds is difficult. But avoid fats and fried things, and instead of sweating onn treaders and all, go for a brisk walk. It would definitely help a little.

Don't eat smaller because that might be the problem. Do keep exercising that should never change.
