Their is a multiplatude of reasons that this might occur. You might be misunderstanding what healthier means, you could be losing weight in other areas more than you have gained in your gut, or it is pure psychological.
You should be eating 5-6 times a day 2-3 hours apart.
Exercising aerobically 5 times a week for 40 minutes is ideal
Eating healthier foods but still not in excess because all calories can turn to fat.
Try building muscle around your stomach it will not target the fat there but it will create an illusion of having a tighter tummy because of the more muscle which spreads the fat making it thinner.
If you believe you are really doing everything correct, wait at least 3 more weeks and if your still getting bigger or haven't gotten any better-don't expect anything drastic then see your doctor their could be an underlining health concern

First of all, recognize the positive steps you have taken over the past 2 months. You have consciously decided to exercise and watch what you eat and that is amazing! That is a great step and you should be proud that you have taken it!
Second, muscle does weigh more than fat - nearly three times more - so part of the weight gain could be muscle beneath the fat.
Third, you may need to be more aware of what you are eating. Whole foods - grains, fruits, vegetables - protein and a healthy amount of fat is what you need to lose weight. It takes a defecit - either by reducing caloric intake or burning them in exercise - of 3500 calories to lose one pound.
There are many resoures online to help you determine what your caloric intake should be to lose weight and remain healthy. I enjoy www.beachbody.com. The message boards are amazing and free.
Just remember, every step you take toward reducing your weight and eating healthy is a positive one! You have made a positive step by simply deciding to exercise and eat right. Your body will be what you want it to be before you know it. Don't give up! Stay commited. Get more information and you will succeed!

I don't think we get fatter, I think that toning up the muscle UNDERNEATH the fat can make you look bigger. And I am wondering why is the scale going down SO SLOWLY when I am working SO HARD to lose weight? Somebody told me that your body will retain more water at first to bring more oxygen to the working muscles. This can account for the weight on the scale not dropping like you hope it will. So drink water so your body won't bloat up. All I can say is I believe giving up out of discouragement is the number one reason "dieting and weightloss fail". And expectations of instant results. Don't get discouraged, keep a positive attitude and your body will balance out. Drink WATER - no cokes, no milkshakes, no "energy" drinks! Those are all sugar and simple carbs!!!! Water and UNSWEET tea. Just keep on working out. It takes a LONG TIME. A couple of months is too soon to give up. You are NOT getting fatter if you keep pushing yourself to work out and drink water and eat sensibly. Sustain your discipline and a positive attitude!

many people think they are eating "healthy" when they really aren't. if you aren't cooking 80% of your meals from scratch with perishable food items then you aren't truly eating healthy.

also many when starting weigh reduction programs make the fatal mistake of decreasing the calories too fast and below the BMR while simultaneously drastically increasing the amount of exercise. this acts as trauma or shock to the body can causes the metabolic rate to slow to a crawl. it is alway best to start performing as much exercise that is going to be performed then slow reducing the calories to a level no lower than what the BMR requires, this should be done over several weeks by about a 10% decreae a week

well that depends on what size you were before you started, and your definition of fat. Most women who call themselves FAT are actually either too thin or freakin hot, its the ones that dont say anything about their weight that are fat

…. the main reason for obesity in this country is because of all the toxins we ingest on a day to day basis.....When you ingest a toxin, the liver takes a fat cell and surrounds the toxin to protect it from your vital organs.....That’s why traditional diets do not work....they don't get rid of the toxins....so your body refuses to shed the fat....So, when you do this cleanse and get all the toxins out of your system, the body recognizes this and begins to shed the fat....The product is unbelievable!
