It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks or says because in the end we each have to decide for ourselves even when we are just one in a pack or herd. Faith based anything usually has more to do with experience or comfort level for most folks. Too many depend on the opinion of others, soley, for how they should think and what they should believe. I have watched members of my family "get born again" and people who were once free thinking and open minded became tiny little cubes in this huge box with an inflexible attitude about their "new faith", so much so that trying to have a discussion about less rigid ideas was seriously frowned upon... The Bible shows how the Creator desires to be worshipped. Our choice is doing it His way or the highway.

There are forces that do not want anyone to choose to follow the true path. They promote a lot of distractions that do not work for life.

By examining the bible and comparing it against the various religions and crossing off the list all who teach things not in harmony with the bible, you come down to the true one.

One is only more credible than another in the eyes of the person who believes it. Each person must decide his or her own belief system, no matter if it is theistic or atheistic. What you find as your own belief system is most credible to you.

Where the mistakes tend to lie is with those who cannot allow others to have their own belief system, instead berating them and trying to force them to conform to their belief system.
