I am married and their is this really good friend of mine, and I love him and I always thought I just loved him like a brother but now he is dating another really good friend of mine, and it hurts me, and I dont know why, I kinda think cause I know her and she will probably hurt him, she just isn't the "settle down" type. So I was thinking these feeling are more worry cause I dont want to see him hurt he is one of my closest friends... I know for a fact if he ever tried to kiss me or something I wouldn't cause I love my husband and I am completely loyal to him I just don't know where these feelings are coming from...

I think that a majority of the people who have answered the question are missing the point. Yes, it is possible to love two men at once. And there are different types of love as well. Is the love of a husband different than the love that you feel for a cousin or a friend? Of course it is!! So stop saying that she is evil or that she does not understand what love is because you are supposed to love only one person for the rest of your life. The amount of love you are able to give does not change when you become married and why should it?
But I digress, I think in your case that you do love your husband, but you are protective of your friend and want what's best for him. Perhaps you have a little bit of jealousy there too because he may be spending more time with his girlfriend than you. I understand because I have my friend "Matt" started seeing a girl and I was worried because I didn't want him to get hurt. His ex was a real piece of work and hurt him really badly. I care for "Matt" as a friend and I view him as a cousin or a brother. Since I see him as more of a brother or cousin, I love him as I would love family. This does not make me evil or lustful or sinful. If you want to think that, fine. My husband understands that Matt is a friend and is happy that I hang out with Matt. Matt is just as protective as a big brother and makes sure that other guys leave me alone.

You would not be having these thought if you were completely in love with your husband. There should be no other man in the world that can make you feel like your husband does. Unless you were not happy. I think you need to do some soul searching.

Your human and your just lusting on another man. Keep yourself in check and it is completely innocent. Know that this is the case and back up a little bit. Your asking for disaster when you let these feelings continue and grow stronger. Your attracted to another person, it happens, but be smart stop yourself before you can't say that your loyal to your husband anymore.

YES it is possible to love 2 men at once. You stated you Love your husband and wouldn't even think bout kissing this friend of yours...so obviously you've been thinking of it...don't act on it* things ca happen where you get caught up in the moment....As for your friend dating another one of your friends....i think yes..you probably know she'll hurt him, but i'm sure he's a big boy and can take care of himself and his heart* You need to sit yourself down and ask yourself why you'er so worried about what will happen with your 2 friends in their relationship* Just let it go...let him and her figure things out on their own. Even if he wasn't with a friend of yours...you'd still be thinking is someone gonig to hurt him....YOU need to stop doing that.....Just take care of your husband andyour marriage. Goodluck*

Maybe you love in like a brother and you love your husband for real and will not cheat on him. You know your friend will hurt him so give him a firendly warning and ask him not to say anything. I would watch out for him if he would do it for you. If you're feelings for him grow to more than brotherly love then it is time to make a tough decision.

Yes it is possible to love two person at the same time. What you describe it is mainly concern and affection for your friend! Not necessarily being in love!
Try to spend also some quality time with your husband.

u probably got married a long time ago and u felt excited with the attention ur good friend was giving u.
it is a bad feeling since u want to be loyal to ur husband.
the only advice i can give u is to forget both of ur friends and organize a romantic vacation with ur hubby and ull get over it soon

You know what they say..the grass is always greener on the other side.Just don't put yourself in the position to be alone with him especially while drinking,because even though u say u love your husband (im not saying u don't) stuff sometimes just happens & with you already having these feelings towards him it sounds like it's just brewing,so be careful and stay close to your hubby.

I personally think that it is possible to love two men at once, but it is not possible to be in love with two men at once.... i think you're just afraid that your friend is going to get hurt and you want to protect him because you are close....you may be in love with him but i think you should leave it alone..if you decide to act, you better talk to your husband first. adultery is never cool.
