Sounds like she is having trouble accepting the change in her looks for herself and may think you feel pity rather than love. You need to try to talk to her and to show her by the way you treat her that it goes deeper than her looks. Don't change the way you treat her from before her accident. It might help if some things stay the same for her. She may just need some time to accept what has happened. I'm sure it was traumatic. I'm glad she is going to be okay. Good luck to you both.

It might be some insecurity on her part. Have you told her outright how you feel? Be honest. Tell her how you feel.
She is also pretty young and alot of relationships may start out good but then break up when there is a seperation. You are going to an out of state college maybe she is worried you will meet someone else more your own age when you go away.
Long distance relationships are hard to manage. But yo have your whole future in front of you.
Go to college and let the chips fall where they may.

You need to first tell her that she is beautiful and that you love her no matter what. The accident and stitches has probably gotten her to feeling self-conscience and then she may feel a little scared because you are going away- You need to talk to her of your feelings for her and be patient with her. Tell her what you are telling everyone oh yahoo that you can't even imagine life with out her, and that at night you think of her. Girls/women need to hear these things. That may help her feel a bit better. Make sure you tell her this stuff face to face- It means more

Well give her love. She was just in an accident that is terrible. The best thing to do if help her out with anything. Walk her home or something. Take her out. Compremise with her tell her you are leaving the state for collage and tell her if you don't want me too you have 3 options...
Come with me
See new people
Mabey ic an stay
Talk to her about it. It will be better than lying to her.

There is nothing you can do. Your leaving out of state. She is too young to go with you. If she won't believe your words then there really isn't anything you can do. Especially if she isn't talking to you. Marry her now...seems to me that would be the only way...she is 17, right? that is 2 yrs younger than you...some states like MD would allow that...ask her parents permission. Or at least get engaged...sorry, but that's all I got for ya...

Send her roses, chocolates, stuffed teddies etc to make her feel thought of and appreciated and loved. Send her a letter with the roses saying how much you love her and will always love her and you are going to die without her you will miss her so much etc etc. Add in a poem or something if you like. Go around to her house, spend as much time with her as you can. Tell her how beautiful she is, and if she says 'yeah right' or if she looks like she doesnt believe you, reassure her. Say, yes, I am in love with you, you are beautiful to me. Say the scar doesnt define you, your heart defines you, and you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen and ever will see.
Lay it on thick! You say you mean it, so prove it.
:) good luck

Give her a promise ring? Talk to her and tell her how you feel? Send her flowers? Write her a poem? Be there for her? She is probably feeling vunerable since the accident and since you are leaving for another state, it is not helping her feel any better.

I agree strongly with LR.
If you're as madly in love with her as you claim, do something to make sure she knows it and doesn't doubt it! Promise rings are always a good idea :) Ane once you get to your college, call her every day just to say "Hi"

o my god thats so beautiful!! pulls at the heart strings man.
She is obviously trying to push you away, as she feels insecure herself. All you need to do is constantly reassure her that you love her and that there is no other woman for you. say you will be there for her and that she is the most beautiful woman in the world.

Send her an "I love you" card, telling her how much you love her no matter what. Send her flowers &, go to her house, get on one knee & scream her name, asking her to marry you (once you finish college). THAT should make her see how much you love her.
