I know you're probably sick of waiting for the right guy to come along, but it's what you need to do because you will find a guy who loves all those things about you and will be ecstatic about taking it to the next step. Just because it hasn't worked out so far, it doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. you sound like a wonderful person so just it give it time.

I had the same problem for years. The best thing is to always be yourself and don't get bitter. When you meet men, be in control and have no expectations. If you are looking for a relationship every time you meet someone new, then you risk scaring men off.
It looks like you are laid back so that's not the problem. I think you just haven't met the right guy that's on the same wavelength with you. Trust me, it sucks to wait but in the end it will be worth it. Keep trying and don't give up!!

Maybe you were just seeing the wrong fella.Give it time and you will find someone that you click with.It took me years to find my wife and she possesses a lot of the same qualities that you mentioned about yourself-intelligent,tolerant,easy going. To be honest, most of the guys that would like a girl like you and want to be involved on a deeper, long term level are guys like myself who have been through too much B.S. with women and really appreciate someone who treats them right. You have probably just had the misfortune of dating too many immature guys who haven't been around enough to know what a wonderful thing a decent Woman can be.You may want to look for a Man who is slightly older(Assuming you are an adult!)whose just plain done with all of the games-good luck doll.

Maybe you're being too pushy?
You sound like you'd be a perfect girlfriend. Maybe you're trying to get involved with all the wrong guys & also, some guys might think you're too good to be true. Perhaps they see you as one of the guys... If that's the case, throw them off by sporting a skirt one day or something. Don't be slutty but, just show your girly side if you normally aren't like that.
If you already have all that down pat, don't worry about it. You'll find somebody but, it takes time.

Possibly your independence disturbs them. Many men think of women as possessions and want them to be incapable of independent thinking or doing. My daughters drive anything with wheels, shoot any type of weapon they can get shells for, and take no prisoners. By and large they have husbands who sleep with one eye open most of the time.
