this is a very strange question, but I'm wondering if its possible to somehow strain your bladder muscle. I have suddenly had a lot of pain in my lower abdomen right where my bladder is. Its fine if Im laying down, but if I stand up and move the wrong way I have a shooting pain. However that is my only symptom. I cant figure out what could be wrong. I appreciate your help.

This sounds like bladders spasms. The doctors have medication specific for bladder spasms, one such is Urised. See your medical doctor as soon as possible for the correct medicine.

Yes, you can strain your bladder muscle. This usually occurs if you are having difficulty voiding. You may have an infection
or stones or it may not be related to your urinary bladder at all, It is worth seeing your doctor.

Is the pain ongoing? getting worse? if you can't say it might be appendix, you might have a strained muscle or a kidney or bladder infection.
