they were smoking a joint, or other minor

Yes, they should have amnesty to make room for yet more illegals to be rounded up and deported

Sounds good. NO one should be in jail/prison over marijuana. MJ will never be legal simply because you can grow it at home year round, produce the best smoke ever and not have to give the government a dime! MJ does not need processing like cigarettes and alcohol, both of which are way more dangerous than MJ and legal??? The government makes more money on it when it is illegal. Bottom line pharmaceutical companies can't charge you 10,000 times more than it cost and government can't tax it or profit in any way. These are the reason MJ is illegal. MJ could solve so many problems and help so many people it is such a shame that we let our government control this plant.

My daughter was caught with pot and because it wasn't a certain amount she just paid a fine because it wasn't a felony. It is still on her record tho.And the same holds true for granting a visa for illegals. They will pay fines not gain citizenship and if they do 3 misdemeanors be deported. So neither one is amnesty.

That should work. Can we also get amnesty for turning in guys with rap music blaring?
We can start a Crime Credits program! Turn in someone committing a crime, and you get credit for one minor crime!

No it wouldn't work because the police and INS all know where the illegals are. They just don't want to do anything, so they really don't want you to point them out.

i said it before, i think crime watch should put a $25.00 reward on every illegal caught and deported, they will be turning their own families in for money. i would be willing to take a tax increase for this!!!!

No law will work if no one enforces it.
We have immigration laws. We have no enforcement.
