I am trying to edit some clips together from a disk I have, but my computer isn't recognizing anything?

I'm on a computer in my network, at school.

Can you think of anything I could be doing wrong or why this isn't working.

ps- this is for a school project, so please don't say I shouldn't be doing this in school.

I have the software to edit the clips, Windows Movie Maker.
And it has CD-RW Drive (D:), it just doesn't do anything when I put my CD in. It's not scratched at all, it's pretty new.

Not sure what you mean by "not recognizing anything". Is it not reading the disk? Are you missing a software to play the clips? Are you missing the software to edit the clips?

Can you please give a little more detail to help us understand...
