Im doing a commercial in moviemakers for a school final project, my subject is on sneakers and it has to be 30 to 45 seconds long. The commercial has to persuade the buyer to say I need it and can't live without this product than rather say I want it and really grab any and everybodys attention.

Start with your target group...for example 13-15 year old guys.

What do they need, what can't they live without? Maybe what they want...is being cool and girls to get hot for them.

So you make a commercial about young guys (16-18 year olds...because younger guys look at older guys as models) and wearing the shoes, being cool, surrounded by girls.

It is easy once you know your target market.

Gimmie 20 dollars i'll write it for you.

I wish my college had classes like these, would have given me more experience.

Target is the first thing you need. Sneakers is a high school type target so make it around 15-18. Thats a pretty tight target margin but its just the primary.

Do we want males or females? Id say males they seem easier to pursuade into buying shoes even though women like shoes more. Strap a basketball players on them and they will sell.

What is the USP or Unique Selling Proposition, which basicly means. If you buy this product you will get this. So what is "this". For sneakers it can be comfort, style, some sort of fuction like lights.

If i was to design a sneaker for 15-17 year old males i would create a sneaker with hidden compartments. The heel of the shoe opens up and allows hiding of notes inside. The James Bond of feet.

For the ad use bright lights, loud rap music and quick shots of kids wearing these shoes with all these secret compartments. Hint at the fact it could be used for cheating on tests and things like that.
