1: I don't believe that fossils are 6000 years old; I also don't necessarily believe that fossils are -not- 6000 years old. I think people are thinking of time as linear, which would not necessarily be the case for an all-powerful deity. It is entirely possible that the bones are 6000 years AND 2 million years old at the same time. Or one or the other, or an answer no one has arrived at. Only time will truly tell who is right in this matter, I fear - either via a Second Coming, another religious/spiritual event, or via advanced technological methods allowing us to view the past.
2: I believe that each person gets what they deserve - whether that be in life or afterwards. To really answer the question, though, I'd have to be given a specific American. I generally think I deserve more than George W. Bush, but not, say, Don Henley (for reference, I say this not because of Don's association with any given charity, but simply because his music brings joy to so many people).
3: I believe that a country deserves nothing at all. A country is a concept of a group of people against all the other groups of people in the world, and I very much have trouble with this concept. I believe, however, that Americans do CURRENTLY receive more in terms of material wealth than other countries., and that this should definitely not be the case; however, I also realize that a truly equal share for all of humanity is virtually impossible - especially with population numbers as they are currently.
4: While I am an American, I consume far less energy than many others. I do not drive a car, and take only public transportation. In my area, that's a carbon-neutral method. Aside from that, I do my best to walk. I turn off lights I do not use, and I keep my water usage within reasonable limits. If I can find a reasonable way of doing something that is less hazardous to the environment, I do my best to utilize that method. As such, I speak as one who already -has- modified their lifestyle to reflect the growing impact the overpopulation of humanity has had on the world. I realize that even with my restrictions, though, I live in the lap of luxury compared to other places.
5: Spiritually speaking, I am unsure if Jesus or God has endowed me with... well, anything. I am still very unsure of religious matters of this nature (part of why I'm hanging out in this section of Yahoo! Answers...). However, I would say that if a person truly believed that they were blessed by God or Jesus, and they follow the directions of the scriptures, then they would share that wealth with the less fortunate - and one doesn't even have to go abroad to do it, with the amount of homeless we have. I certainly don't think that Jesus likes America (and therefore its citizens) anymore than other places; that seems like it would be against the fundamental nature of his teachings.

Some fossils are a few years old, some like dinosaur might be 200 million.
Cool thing about fossils, a bat was discovered 70 million years old, and scientists then realized heh we think the mammal is 80 million years old - can't be - has to be the first mammalls as early as 110 million years to be able to evolve into this 70 million year old bat.
Well I think you can figure out where I stand on this issue.
Thanks

They have been told the Bible geneologies add up to 6000 years and the Bible says the earth and humans were created within six 24 hour days. The Bible only says the earth is very old. And that the earth was created in the beginning (Genesis 1:1), before the six creation days. The geneologies come to dead ends and have gaps, so they cannot be used to tell time. But it is a tradition that some have too much pride to admit they have been wrong.

WOW - Bait and switch! Question 1 has nothing to do with the rest....
1) Yes
2) Don't deserve anything more than anyone else
3) See 2
4) Global warming is a myth. However, I try to adjust my energy consumption as much as I can
5) He likes me more because I like him too. He proves it by allowing me to keep breathing. I'm not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but I have a roof over my head (although I'm in the middle of repairing it) and food on my table. Monitary blessings only come as I bless others in kind....

I am an American. I believe earth is over 4,500,000,000 years old as several scietific techniques prove. I deserve only what I earn with my superior brain and muscles. I am a genius, and I've won powerlifting contests. I ask for no handouts. Global warming is debatable, so it is not an established fact. I do not drive, so I consume no gasoline directly. I ride buses, streetcars and cable cars here in San Francisco. I believe in no gods. God's & Jesus' existences are doubtful, so they give me nothing.
