If they are good people, they'll be saying "Hey, God, either stop tormenting those people or send me down there, too, I don't want to be near you if you'd do that, you creep."
Edit: So, god would HIDE hell from people in heaven? What a creep! a deceptive creep!

I am sorry that I don't know how to answer this question. I wouldn't look down from Heaven and say or think nothing bad. What people do for eternity is the decision they made when they are alive on earth. Now is a good time to set your eternal path forever. Your decision is between you and God, not me and you. I would only hope you happiness forever!

Wow, it's amazing the spirit of confusion and delusion that is in the world today. Everyone finds fault with God, asking why he allows this and that, etc. A better question to ask is why WE allow it. God placed into the world everything we needed to have, and we took it and used it to our own purposes. God gave you the gift of free will..to choose to love him or choose to reject him. Then he gave you the gift of his son Jesus, and again the free will to accept or reject him. Obviously, we all are choosing different ways here. I want to spend eternity with God, and some of you appear not to. just remember this....the Bible tells us that anything that is good and decent and pure in this world comes from him, so....being separated from him for eternity would place you in an existence full of everything that is NOT good and decent and pure. The restraining power of God to hold back evil will not be present in hell, so whatever "party" is going on there will not be something I want to attend.

I don't usually answer overtly instigating, arrogant questions like these, but to address a similar subject, I have often wondered how there could be no more tears in Heaven if those that are there have knowledge of loved ones who did not get there. I guess this speaks to the overwhelming power of God to provide peace and comfort, and that we know that no one will be able to say to God that he or she didn't get a fair shot.

We will lament with sadness the stubborn and hard headeness of those who failed to take head of the message. There will be no envy on our part, just regret for those who through their hardened hearts didn't make the trip.

What a poor cynical attitude you have. In heaven we won't see hell, heaven is only good and pure and there is no sadness or pain there. So for us to see people in hell burning, some which will probably friends and family, that would be sad and disturbing, and therefore we won't be able to view people in hell. And who says we have to wear gowns anyway?

Hell is an imaginary place, so my answer will be an imaginary response. Some Christians will be speechless but some (fake) Christians will complain that why are they not up in heaven.

Remember that Satan in Milton's Paradise Lost was one of the great heroes of our literature -- a great rebel, full of courage, loyalty to his followers, and he had sheer guts.
Alternately, do you want to live for Eternity listening to fundies' boring sermons.
