There are infinite futures and God knows all of them, including the ones he may influence into being.
That is the popular answer; of course, it makes no sense. There is one future. There is an infinite number of possible futures, but only one future.

I won't waste my time or yours trying to answer the question because there is no such person or thing as god. The future cannot be changed anymore than history can be changed. It is a matter of physics. There is not a person that can tell you what will happen next. Even the assumption that water will stay in the oceans could be an incorrect guess at the future. A ten mile diameter asteroid could strike the earth and stop anything anyone was thinking could or couldn't happen. It is not rational to say,"I know what is going to happen but I am powerless to change what is going to happen."

False. It's an oxymoron. God and powerlessness are exact opposites. However, He has granted us the power to change the future. Even though ongoing events may alter what has not yet happened, He still knows what the ultimate outcome will be.

False. The human history of its beginning and its story to the future and to the unending future have been written in the THE BOOK OF THE ALFA AND THE OMEGA. THE LORD GOD said in Rev 21:6 I AM THE ALFA AND THE OMEGA. The omega is an unending world and it has been written in this Book of the ALFA AND THE OMEGA. This is likened to a script for a drama or the movie. While it was approved by the Director himself, the director has the power to edit the script along the way. Of course, when THE LORD GOD wrote the BOOK OF THE ALFA AND THE OMEGA it was a perfect BOOK. Thus, THE LORD GOD has the power and might to write a perfect Book and has also the power and might to write a BOOK that is imperfect like the lives of men written in the BOOK OF LIFE for their earth's lives. Bu if one is powerless to change something or anything then HE IS NOT GOD but a fake GOD like the fake-Christ to come. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

Which is why he was powerless to stop Jesus being crucified because God knew already what would happen - that he would rise from the dead. However, we do have free will - we aren't robots. That's what makes people angry because they blame God for man's choices. Why would God want to change the future?? You should read Revelation.

God knows all possible futures, because time is not a barrier for Him as it is for us. For God, there is NO past, present, future ... it's all the same for Him. That's the essence of eternity.
I think if we were able to get our minds around something like that, we'd go crazy lol

On the face of it: True. No mater how God would change the future, he would still know the outcome.

true and false
a variation of your question was pondered for over 2000 years.
it was so popular a dilemma it actually has a name, it is called "theodicy"
let me explain, we take these assumtions:
1.god is all powerful
2.god is all good
3.evil exists in the world
you can have any two of the 3, but never all three.
I guess it comes down to what we (humans) perceive god to be... perhaps our minds can not completely comprehend god, that is why we have faith, hope it helps.

God can change the future, But since he knows it, it has been planned, so he wouldn't need to. And if He did chance, it He knew that he would.
