thats a great diet if u ask me!

but why dont u add some chicken to ur salad occasionaly?
its still healthy and provides protine

and u can add some light chese too, because you burn the calories u gain at lunch easily because u'd be at work and stuff

and banana has natural sugar in it so i think you're doing great

you're doing great =D

I try to make sure I get a protein, whole grain and a fruit and veggie with every meal, and then some. For example, today for breakfast, I had some Kashi Go Lean! cereal and some leftover raisin brain with soy milk. My fruit will be a cup of grape juice, since I've not bought any fruit for the week yet. Since I often get hungry again at 11, I usually have some fruit, to tide me over for about an hour when I make lunch.

Lunch is generally a sandwhich (tofu, veggie burger, or veggie lunch "meat") on whole wheat bread. (Only whole wheat or grain. There is nothing else that is worth it.) With it, some steamed veggies.

I often have a snack in the afternoon, either some trail mix, whole grain tortilla chips, and/or some fruit.

For dinner I either have whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and tofu thrown in; Brown rice with beans or tofu, or another sandwhich. All of these are accompanied with steamed veggies.

If I have an evening snack, it's usually air popped pop corn (I don't care for microwave, not only do they have additives and chemicals, but I try to avoid using microwaves) with Smart Balance all natural oil spread. Or, I have whole grain tortilla chips with my husband's home made salsa.

As for meal times, I generally eat when I'm hungry, though I usually don't like getting up for breakfast any later than 7:30, since it's been at least ten hours since I last ate. It wouldn't have been a big deal for me, but since I'm pregnant, it's a HUGE deal for my baby. Lunch is usually made between 12-12:30 because that's when I get hungry. Since I have a snack or two, dinner is when I get hungry or realize I'm going to get hungry soon, so I start it. (Especially with the rice as it takes about 45 mintues too cook, as opposed to 10-15 minutes for the pasta.) Some evenings I have the snack because I want it, and because there are days when I don't get as much calories as what I should have been getting.

Most days, it seems as though I do get the reccomended servings of real food. I do have some junk "food" on occasion, because I'm human. I had some problems last week when we were on vacation, but since my baby has obviously grown (my tummy got bigger, I've gained weight and I feel her all around, not just in one area), I don't feel too guilty.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

Its impossible to say without letting us know what your goals are. are you trying to gain muscle, lose weight, gain weight ?.

how much exercise ?

You should try and have 6 meals a day if your trying to lose or gain. Just what size the servings are will differ.

But very low protein for muscle growth there, if your going for large weight loss visit a bodybuilding forum (great advice to be found there).

you shouldnt have any meal plans. eat when you're hungry, but stop when the hunger is gone. that's the main point. and go easy on the carbs. it's good you dont have much carb on your meal plan. carbs make you fat, trust me! and it's good you have veggies and fruits. it's okay to have enough proteins, easy on the sugar. but you can have meat every once in a while!

Nobody can tell if you have enough carbs and protein without knowing the quantities and specific things you are eating. You can look it all up at www.calorieking.com, or some other similar website. They even tell you the stats on produce and bulk foods, etc.

the meals are good but you can't eat them every day! try varying what you have to make it a better diet so you get the best out of each meal.

Yes, if you want more protein you could have peanut butter w/ toast. Or almonds.
They are at really great times... Very Heathly!
Keep up the GREAT work.
