I need to prove that God exists and that Jesus was not a fraud to an atheist/humanist. I can not quote the bible because the atheist does not think that the bible is a valid source of information. Any help would be appreciate! No sarcasm please, or mean comments. Constructive help only!

Its not your job to prove anything. God does the proving to all of us. Its your job to be there when the person listens to God ,and has serious questions. If God chose you to answer the questions, he will give you the correct answers.

You can't it is not possible to prove the existence of God if it was then you wouldn't have any agnostics.

But if you are dead set on trying I would say go read up on science so you can attempt to counter any explanation they will give. While at the same time go study more on the big 3 and try and make some sort of argument on how they are all connected and that the mass of humankind cant be wrong.

In reality chances are you will not convert them because you will have to find some way to instill belief in a person that denies the existence of all higher powers. In other words you are going to have to change the fundamental way they look at the universe and disprove all he thing they will use to defend themselves (science)

Here are some practice exercises:
1. Prove that the room that you and your atheist friend are sitting in is full of invisible miniature crocodiles.

2. Prove that there is a giant undetectable teacup orbiting the sun between Mars and Earth.

Things that you may need to explain:
1. Why the Bible is contradictory.
2. Why the infallible word of god say that rabbits chew their cud.
3. Why there is no evidence of a global flood.
4. Why there is no evidence of the Exodus or of Hebrews in Egypt.
5. Alternate theories to Creation and ID.
6. Why the is no independent record of the star of Bethlehem or the significant events surrounding Jesus's Crucifixion.

These should give you a good start.

About the best you can do is prove that Jesus did live on earth. Not only does the bible state that he does so does many books, not only religious. You don't have to go and find everyone one of them. Have that person prove that Jesus does not exist, there is too many books out there for that person to prove he don't. Some dating back to before the bible.

"The Case for Christ" by Lee Strobel - former athiest/skeptic turned Christian goes on an intellectual and logical fact-finding mission to uncover the truth about the historical Jesus using his training as a legal journalist.

Start there. In there, you will find all the evidence you need. Including proof from corroborative evidence (meaning extra- biblical resources). For instance - there are three historians mentioned (Tacitus, Josephus and Pliny the Younger) that all corroborate that Jesus was a real person who was crucified by Pilot, and whose followes believed was raised from the dead.

Hope that helps.

Well obviously by your question, you cannot even prove the existence of god to yourself so how could you even attemt to prove it to someone else. If it is your faith that makes you believe, than what you have to do is explain to this person the meaning in having faith in the existence of something that nobody could possibly prove.
This is coming from a non-believer.

As I say to them, look around at nature. Pick something like a bird, flower, or even the stars. Then try to figure how they got there and do what they do. See how they are designed. How could it have accidentally happened? I believe God will be revealed this way if the person is honest with what he sees.

Nothing you can say will convince your friend that what you BELIEVE is truth. Belief in something doesn't make it true regardless of whether it is or it isn't true.
Belief is just belief it doesn't require proof.
Has it occured to you that you can't prove the existance for a reason?

See the problem you are up against is that the church has gone out of its way to make God impossible for science to study because it knows what science would find. They have made it entirely impossible to do any experiment that would show anything meaningful at all.

The net result is that no evidence could exist for a god unless that god chose to provide it. But I assure you that a god could easily prove its existence to science.

You can not, but it is not your job to show them. Remember that the Lord decides who he will save and who he reveal himself to you. The best thing you can do is show them that you practice what you preach and that you are a disciple of your master. Spread love, let them know that you have a completely different mentality then most of the natural world, that you on on a higher level.

Don't! dont prove it. A better way of converting him is to take him to a church. If he rufuse, introduce your church friends. Spend a lot of time together and Slowly and not obviously tell him bout God.

God will prepare a table a table before you in the presence of your enemies. (This is Figurative)

That means, he, your friend, will see that the blessing is on you. Then Sit back and watch. May take years though.
