my day could look like this:
breakfast - toasted whole wheat pita pockets filled with grilled chicken, skim mozzarella, tomatoes, cucumbers and salad, coffee with milk
snack - orange and peach
lunch - fresh veggie salad with lean meat
snack - whole wheat toast with peanut butter and green tea
dinner - lean meat with steamed veggies (eggplant, snow peas, asparagus, red pepper)
snack - 60cal pudding mixed with cottage cheese

Here are the six small meals I have been eating for about 2-1/2 months now and I have lost 15 pounds - pretty much a steady 1.5 lbs. a week.

Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs (use PAM in teflon skillet) or 1 C. non-fat yoghurt + piece of fruit

Mid-morning: 1 oz. cheddar or swiss cheese + 1 apple

Lunch: 1 can salmon or tuna (sprinkled with fresh-squeezed lemon juice and 1 T. salsa) OR 4 oz smoked turkey breast lunch meat + 3 Ryvita rye crackers

Mid-afternoon: Plate of 2 cucumbers and 2 tomatoes - cut up + 1 oz. feta cheese OR 1-1/2 C. steamed vegetables

Dinner: 2 C. steamed vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, brussels sprouts, green beans, etc.)

Evening Snack: 5 dates.

This is about 900 calories, which may not be enough for you. I am in my 60s and have a lower metabolism than someone younger.

Stay with vegetables, steamed and salads, small portions of chicken breast or turkey or fish.

I am starting a liquid diet today for as many days as i can, I generally only last 3 or 4 . But then I go to the small portions.
By doing this it gets me started.

I do prune juice in the morning, water with lemon juice all day, V8 juice to get my veggies, a multivitamin and a sweet juice to keep my sugars up for dinner.

I can't give you a menu but I can tell you to watch all your calories you take in and make sure you are burning more than you take in. Try snacking on celery it puts you in the negative calories it burns more calories to digest than what is in the celery. Look for items like that. and drink lots of water. I did this and lost fifty pounds in three months. and have kept it off.
