Like, a master's degree you don't even use?

There is no such thing as too much education even if you don't always need it. Until the day that they put you under ground, try to learn something every day. Ignorance is never the answer.

I agree with Zac. There's no such thing as too much education. I don't see how you could not use a master's degree. Even if you choose to do manual labour, knowledge about something like levers and centre of gravity can help you.

It seems like everyone is in agreement. Education is always useful, even if it is used in ways that are no immediately apparent. Don't look for excuses not to get an education. In the end, you'll be better off for any education you have received.

I guess you are referring to formal education such as master's phd's... That depends on the situation. In my line of work, I dont use the data I learned in school but they opened up doors for me. Outside of work, I use the knowledge I gained from school to do repairs around my house. :)

i dont haha but my cousins both have masters degrees and they chose to live in a small town and one works on cars and monster trucks and the other works for a landscaping company.

Yes, because I have not reached perfection, only functioning knowledge, mixed with varied perceptive wisdom. I move from one interest to another with the freedom of abandon, and some varied recognition of accomplishment.
