Hello.
All can anyone tell me what i can do to lose some fat(not much)
im a 18 year old female.At the moment i weigh 8 stone 8 lb.I started my diet last wednesday i weighed 8 stone 12 lb when started.But i was not eating noway the amount i should of.So im trying to find a better way to lose my weight other than starving myself.I have not got much patients lol and i need something to work quick as summer is here and i wont my belly out :-(

pilates ab workout for the tummy, or basic sit ups/crunches.
lunges are good for the thigh which many not slim up as much as it will tone up.
exercise and a healthy diet are always the best combo... i know it sucks, but its natures way of making us do right by our body
belly dancing is also a fun way to tone up, but it takes longer.
I did pilates and belly dancing for a few months and i can see my 6 pack again.

Although most may think admonial exercises will help you lose belly fat, its wrong. They build muscle. To loose belly fat and thigh fat you need to lose fat around your whole body. You cannot lose fat in one specific area. Decrease your calorie intake and do a lot of cardio and weights exercises. But still workout your thighs and cores so when you do lose the fat, you can tone it.

running alone 30 mins everyday is enough to burn alot of fat specially in the morning ! but always warm up but running slowly for about 5-10 mins then go full !
dont stress about u being bigger than others no big deal !
heres the mistake u making
if u starve yourself ur body is gona go in to self survival mode and store fat ! the only result u see from dieting is water loss !

look dont eat junk food alot ! but cant live without em can we :)
Drink water I mean lots everyday ! you may need to use the loo more often but trust me its worth it ! :)) haha
you should double ur meals ! if you eat 3 meals make it 6 small meals instead of 6 big meals ! when you start eating ur body come out from the survival mode and start NOT storing fat
then finally excercise ! start with small stuff dont put too much on ur plate
start running or walking or even better swimming ! even cycling or skipping ropes ! i mean 10 mins a day is better than nothing right !
i see on the web pages that we hav to do at least 30 mins of cardio (means getting ur heart pumpin with adrenaline !) but since ur a beginner start slowly and more reps/mins as you prefer !
dont over do it and get plenty of sleep ! important dont skip sleep ! if you do you will feel tired and ur body wont repair it self causing u injury

and last take it easy ! theres no rush ! and dont try to lose all the fat on ur body cuz u wouldnt wona look like paris hilton ! :)

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

there is no way to exercise that you can lose fat from specific areas . . . but cardio exercise (running, walking, biking, elliptical machine, aerobics) is the most effective way to burn fat . . . but it burns fat all over the body, you can't make it burn fat in specific areas
building lean muscle mass will help your body burn fat more efficiently, but if you are worried about your size, be sure not to overdo the weight/resistance training (maybe 2-3 times/week), because that will just build up muscle under your fat, making you appear bigger

for belly fat, one way to help is to stay away from foods high in saturated fat and processed sugars

Avoid food with a high glycemic index. Your white bread, white rice, potatoes, and instead eat food with a low glycemic index like whole grain bread and brown rice.
Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, these will help you feel more full when you eat so you don't feel starved.

Try to do 10 hill sprints, and if you dont have any hills, sprint on the ground, High intensity work burns more fat than anything. but try sprinting i went from 191lbs to 148lbs. just sprinting everyday, for about 1-2 hours, sprint a 40 or a hill walk down or walk back sprint, walk down or back...etc.
