Moderate aerobic exercise is essential for keeping rheumatic heart conditions from becoming worse, but strenuous exercise may or may not be a good idea--it depends on the type of damage done to your heart, and consideration of any other problems. So, you need to check with your doctor. The most dangerous thing with heavy weight lifting comes from a large increase in blood pressure during the exercise.

If weightlifting is OK with your doc, you can reduce the stress on your heart when weight lifting by switching to a workout with low weight and high number of reps, and working at a pace that does not affect your breathing. This isn't the ideal body-building approach, but it still works, and is much healthier for your heart.

It's just a food and calories supplement. That's all. Mostly used by people that don't have much appetite, and are losing weight. There stomache kind of shrinks and it takes very little to full them up. Or people that r to sick to eat normal meals. It's just to help put calories, more calories in them so they can keep up their energy and not losecMORE wieght. I think the gold, has more vitamins and calories than the regular. It is not a medicine. It's food. A meal replacement.
