It is said of the knights at the beginning of there quest for the holy grail that "each entered the forest at the place of there own chosing, where it was darkest, and there was no path". Have you found the Holy Grail? ~ : )

I believe the "Holy Grail" is within each human being, finding it, is finding one's wholeness. Simple. :)

I will. I was there when the agreement was made. We were on a quest. We knew that we could cover more ground if we worked together. Each of us made the promise that we would never stop until one of us found it.
We understood, that to find what we were looking for, we would have to blaze a trail through our own inner wilderness. Whoever found it first would notify the others, and we would meet back at the round table. This is where our quest began. At the time, it was the 'table of negotiations', but this time it'll be a table of equality and unity. (the original intention) We also agreed that when the Grail was found, a message would be 'broadcast' to all the knights. It would be a signal that someone had found the Grail.
The signal was to be in the form of a question. "Have you found the Holy Grail?"

Oh yes I am a Priest of The Lady of Avalon, Nolava Keeper of the Holy Grail. She is the Goddess of Death, Regeneration, Healing and Rebirth, the path to her is through self, through the darkness of unity, the stillness of unity, for me the path to her is the path of the Holy Grail.

They were not after the Holy Grail;
But for the power to rule the Grail
Grail which gives them Kingdoms
To burn and construct on the ashes
They ate and drank at around the table
And entered forest which was unable
There was no path to come back
Or no light to look at; the door of hell was open
Maya was laughing
Go back! Go back! Go back!

Strolling through a lesser jungle in Belize, I hear a cough, a movement in the undergrowth, I stop, I listen, with much 'Intent'. The jaguar stops too, and listens, then continues on his/her way, with as much nonchalance as possible ....... as do I.
There was no 'path', the way opened up before me, each step a decision, making way for the next one, one step at a time.
I 'know' what it is, and I grow accustomed to it's presence, I realise that I never 'lost' it, I just put it aside, for a while.
Yes, I eat and drink there every night ...... in my dream world, realising that there is no other.
The great 'Grail' question is, of course, 'Who does the 'Grail' serve ?', that is actually the only question that we ever need to ask.

Here is a poem I wrote in honor of this question (for you CD!)::
(Called - Knights of the Round Table)
Around the table, we knights are valiant, lordly, yet blind.
Of what we know not, we plan to travel, to seek, and to find.
In the depths of our hearts, intentions are true, loving, and kind...
Yet the darkest of forests, they breathe, they creak, and they bind...
Little to late, we turn a glance at the once known path,
To behold the enigmatic vision of self, and its inner most wrath.
The shadow of our fear, brings a lonesome tear to the face,
And at first, the entanglement of mind desires to forsake this holy place.
Believe we must, overwhelmed in the verity of our way,
For only a few trust and have faith, whilst many will stray.
As our life-long quest remains, riddled with outward decay,
The illumined and illustious few bring forth the grail of new life, as they pass away.

I sir will eat and drink with all at the " round table ". My form is female...my soul is genderless...this Light is strong. I " see " the place of which I will enter...and it is the place of my choosing. For the present...as I sit gathered round with others of valiant souls...I dine, drink, share...then on to my silent place (I'm currently taking a sabbatical) to go within before entering that place to the " forest ".
The " Holy Grail " ? It has been seen and already is within. Current quest is to drink the wisdom from the chalice...then look upon the boundless path.
Till then...I sit in this place of Now, encouraged, celebrating, fed, nourished for the journey ahead.
Fill my cup and share from my plate. . .Soul hugs to all as we step out and journey to the oneness of the Pure Light.

Amused serious type silent deep laughter. Hmmmmmmm.
Wasn't that a guy thing? Again with the exclusivity! I challenge you to a joust Sir Cosmicdrifter!
It's not that I don't love Aurthur! Really! But my crotch is still killing me since the last time you guys went trailing off on these quest things. Hence my vote for Buddhism and Pantheistic spirituality. Epona is on my side....well I hope so anyway.
My stead! Praize Giaya, for Avalon!
Jamie
Lol! Peace babe!
Reply...Oh pleeeaaaassse...LOL! I love the sentiment however...since we are speaking more symbolically. *-) You see I actually believe Aurthor existed...and Merlyn and so on. I will share...
I had a dream that Merlyn gave me a name...what was it? TRUE! Gratitude Merlyn, I pay my very serious respects. I was blessed and knighted Lady...

The mind's vision becomes darkest just before one can see the light.
Do you know even a beautifully simple game like Jenga can show you this?
