Are you meaning a friend who is a girl, or an actual girlfriend (someone you had a relationship with)?
You didn't actually say that you had sex with her, but I'm guessing you must've done - otherwise you probably wouldn't be asking this question.
You didn't say how long ago you were intimate with this girl, if it was 2 years ago or over and you have had these HIV tests AFTER you slept with her there is nothing to worry about - because it would've shown up on a test by now, it shows up after 3/6 months.
If you have slept with her SINCE your last test you need to have another one - 3 months after the possible infection took place, then another test 3 months after that if you still feel worried. If there are any antibodies to the virus in your blood it should show up by then.
Additionally, a HIV test is an AIDS test. There is no test to detect AIDS in a person, only HIV (which is the virus that leads to AIDS).

She can't possibly know that you have it. The signs and symptoms don't generally point to HIV and can cover a wide area of illnesses.
It takes 6 months for the HIV virus to show up on test (can be detected sooner, but it usually takes 6 months) and HIV is the virus that leads to the disease AIDS. HIV doesn't always turn into AIDS though. So it is the same test.
If you've had unprotected sex, or shared needles then get tested again. If not, the chances that you have it are slim. But its always wise to get tested every 6 months or so.

HIV may not have any signs and symptoms, you can stay healthy and well for years and not know that you are infected.
When your last test came back negative it meant that you did not have HIV, but if you have had sex without a condom with this woman (or any other person) after this test you need to be tested now to find out if you are now infected.
They test you for HIV antibodies and it can take up to 3 months for the body to produce antibodies to HIV after the inital infection.
Sorry but you say that you have been tested 5 times over the last two years, if this is because your having sex without a condom you need to wise up and start taking responsibility for your health. You could also be unknowingly infecting others if you do turn out to be positive. Be safe, be sure and use a condom.

Go back to the clinic. Ask to be tested for everything under the sun. HIV, AIDS, the whole shooting match.
Do not have sex until the results come back. It will be tough but its the only way to make sure your status is the same when you get your results as when you took the test. If the results are negative, congratulations, you are alost certainly clear. Sheath up and dont be so careless next time.
If your girlfriend says she is HIV Positive, you had unprotected sex and yet you are negative. Either you are a medical miracle or your girlfriend doesnt have HIV.

You are obviously not that young, but have little understanding of STDs let alone their risks.
AIDS is the consequence of HIV infection, The HIV damages the immune system and allows multiple opportunistic infections and tumours to occur. AIDS is a clinical diagnosis of a syndrome caused by the infection with HIV which is what can be tested for.
HIV produces no more than an initial flu like illness. If you continue with risky sexual behaviour you will remain at risk.

She can't possibly know whether you have HIV.
If she has HIV and you have had unprotected sex with her, the chance you contracted HIV from her is less than one in a thousand for each episode of vaginal sex.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIV#Transmission
The risk increases significantly, though, if either of you had other sexually transmissible infections.
HIV will usually show up in a blood test within three months and almost always within six months.
An HIV test checks whether you have HIV, the virus which causes the disease AIDS. If you had a test two years after you last had sex and it was negative, you can certainly stop worrying.

It can sometimes take years before you show symptoms of having HIV, it may also take a considerable amount of time before it shows up on a test. It all depends on your specific immune system. Keep in mind that when you have unprotected sex with someone who is infected, there is only a 30% chance of becoming infected yourself. The only thing you can do is keep getting tested. An aids test is the same as an HIV test.

take the test again, keep taking the test for as long as you feel there is a chance you are at risk, just because this girl has told you she is HIV it doesn't mean she is the only girlfriend you may have had with the disease, and AIDS is the physical breakdown caused by the HIV virus, so basically yes, they are the same thing..
good luck and all the best.

Just bc you had sex with her does not mean that you have HIV?AIDS. Just bc she tells you that doesnt make i so...The test is for HIV...HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. So you would know regardless. If the test has ben negative for 2 years and u havent had sexual contact with the girl then you most likely are HIV negative

An HIV test result is only valid on the day they do it. You could contract HIV the day after. It's the same as what used to be called an Aids test.
So take another test today - otherwise you could be infecting every sexual partner you ever have, and that is (criminally) negligent behaviour.
These days, people live practically normal lives with HIV thanks to excellent drug therapy.
