I'm hearing the major news media saying a majority of Americans favor passage of the immigration bill. But I don't sense much support for it at all from the people I talk to every day. Are you in favor of it or not?

Totally against this abomination.
This new immigration bill is a joke. It is a game of political football which is entirely unnecessary. Congress is trying to divert attention from the fact that current laws are more than adequate, and that it is not the laws that need fixing, it is the lack of enforcement by the federal government.
The current law under debate is a special interest hand-out which will only encourage more illegal immigration and more problems down the road.

The liberal media are liars! The CLAIM most Americans what the Senate's piece of crap amnesty bill. HOWEVER, last I heard, 85% of Americans are against it!
What's funny is even some of the pro-illegals are against it. They say it's too hard on them. I don't think it's anywhere hard enough. AMNESTY IS WRONG! This is an amnesty bill!
I think this garbage will pass the Senate since they don't care what we think. It won't pass the House! They are too afraid they will loose their jobs to vote for it.
Bush has already said that he doesn't care what the voters think! I use to support him but now I think he's a moron! We elected these idiots to represent us. They are telling us "screw you!" Throw the bums out!

I am against the bill 100%.
There must be a lot of people listening to CNN and their spin about most Americans favoring the bill.
I would say that 85 to 90% of the folks I talk to are against it.
The politicans are playing political football with it and it is going to be their downfall,I think the grassroots voters are about ready to make their sentiments heard but it will be passed sadly before the elections.AGAIN!!!! 100%AGAINST.

against. i think of that it would be extra like harassing. just to come across some extraterrestrial beings, a great form of criminal immigrants will now be stopped, and checked. i think of it incredibly is effective, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it comes on the fee of invasion of privateness.

Chuckle, I don't know who they are polling because I don't know anyone that supports that bill. I do know the Chamber of Commerce, La Raza & most corporations support it. However, almost anyone that works for wages opposes it. I think most Americans know this is simply a bold move to further reduce the wages of the middle & lower class in this country & to subsidize cheap corporate labor at taxpayer expense.
