I'm thinking of getting my first tat of a very detailed looking dragon on my right arm (bicep) area with my chinese last name on the dragon's underbelly as dragon is part of my chinese name. Do you ladies think it will actually look good? For the guys, the only concern I have is concerning bicep size. I have a good size now but it sometimes flucuates depending on how hard I train. I'm worried that if I get them even larger after getting the tattoo, it will mess up the design. Any suggestions?

Edit: No, I'm not getting one just to impress a girl. I plan on getting it anyways, just wanted to get a feel of the response it will have to seeing one on a guy. :p

Sounds really cool and sounds like you gave it some thought too (always a good thing) I dated a man from the Philippians for a long time and he has many tattoos and they look fantastic so I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think the size of your arm with mess up the design. The most important thing is that you get the tattoo for you and not to impress some chick.

i suggest that you not get a tattoo if you are only doing so to impress a girl. that is ridiculous, if a girl is only going to be interested in you or not solely on whether you have a tattoo then you are trying to attract the wrong kind of girl.

Re: asking whether you think that ladies will find it attractive....wrong reason to get a tattoo. I'm going to take a stab at it and say that you were born in 88' or 89'...don't get a tattoo simply because you turned 18 and you can get one now.

I don't think it should have anything to do with whether your asian. If you want it get it. But remember it will be permanent and you can't change it easily. I would wait until you reach the size you want to be.
