Recently I answered this question, Should Catholics interfere in the democratic process by threatening withdrawal of communion from politicians? http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070604051109AAVMM8D&r=w&show_comments=true&pa=FZB6NWHjDG3N56z6v_2zVk6vr1avmUP_t_BNgVn4mFPtd3IVbnMricsyQieIoDt1S1ef3UXPb4S2cXh1dWQ_ZQ--&paid=add_comment

and here was my answer:Pastor Billy says: interfere? you're not a goat, you're a jack@ss. Like anyone else in a democratic society Catholics have every right to contribute to the governance of the democratic process and to promote what is moral law and be true to their own moral conscience in doing so. The Church is playing it's role as a responsible religious teaching authority on the moral law when it chooses to restrict access to the sacrament for those in opposition to the moral law and place themselves in a reality of not being ready for the sacrament. This action of restriction is out of concern primarily for the individual soul. You obv

You obviously make comments on what you have little knowledge of. I think I've read some of your other questions aren't you homosexual? That would explain somewhat your anger at the Church as I sense a hidden agenda here. Please re-word your question from my standpoint you don't speak for our western democratic culture.

What do you think, should it have been removed? BTW the poster has already closed the original question by picking a favorite.

sara i understand what you are saying but is jack--- that bad? I guess I could have said donkey because that's what a jack--- is. You and well as I know this was not the primary reason my answer was removed. BTW I little faith in the moderators of this site and wouldn't doubt that this question will also be removed once they are brought up to speed on my renouncement of the previous decision. I'll continue on until the original answer gets reinstated.

"I've read some of your other questions aren't you homosexual? That would explain somewhat your anger at the Church as I sense a hidden agenda here. Please re-word your question from my standpoint you don't speak for our western democratic culture."

1. Your agenda is clear from the first sentence quoted above. How's your witch hunt going?

Yet you don't quote a first sentence, you quote 3 statements the first being a legitimate question. The second being a suggestive comment on the homosexual community's militant wing which regularly denigrates the Catholic position in support of the moral law in discussions such as this, and the third being a request for the poster to return to the democratic process and respect the rights of others to voice theirs in open forum.

The original poster scapegoat is baiting people and really asking them to vote against their conscience on the moral law. This is what doesn't resemble democracy.

2. Why would someone want to reword a question from your standpoint? Rather defeats the purpose of posing a meaningful question, no?

3. I suppose YOU claim to speak for "western democratic culture"? LOLOLOLOL!!!! Theocratic dictorship is more like it.

Addendum: In addition to being highly presumptive, you seem to have a reading comprehension problem.

I like free speech. I don't agree with your statement but I support your right to make it. Not because I like your free speech but because I like my free speech.
This is a private entity this yahoo, so free speech doesn't really apply...Join the club.
Calling someone a jackass is insulting another participant and it is against the rules.
Edit: I know that was not the primary reason, but I'm guessing it was the violation. The things I get deleted are ridiculous. My first deleted answer was because this boy kept asking questions about women being sluts: all women are sluts, why are all women sluts, I hate sluts, etc. So I answered; What's up are you lonely? Just because a woman doesn't like you that doesn't mean she's a ****... That answer was deleted, but not the questions. I think it's a computer program doing it.
(Isn't that strange, I can write sluts all day long but it edits out ****. (s l u t )?

People are not capable of ignoring answers or questions they dont like. They ask and expect the answers they want to read, all the others will be reported. Truth is difficult to swallow.

They report because it's *anonymous*, I bet they wont do it if we all get to know who did it................LOL

Pastor Billy....I have thought so for some time now, but, being new in here I was wondering for which "side" you were being a "devils advocate" for....

But, your answer above has answered that for me.

Thankyou....I no longer have to "wonder"

Good to see a pastor sticking up for Catholics.

Maybe the increase in persecution which I see coming will unite us all at last.

if churches want to meddle in politics and gov't, then they should be forced to give up their tax-exempt status and pay taxes, just like i do.

take it or leave it! they shouldn't have it both ways.
