Please can someone explain it to me?My husband was send to get a CAT-SCAN b/c our doc was worried about his lung not working properly(she said she could barely hear it)
No one will tell us anything or what's going on.
And is it normal if one lung is a bit shorter then the other one?I saw that his right lung is shorter during the scan.
Thanks in advance!

Bilateral hilar adenopathy. It means that there are enlarged lymph nodes in the hilar area of the lungs. The hilum (hilar) of the lungs is the area where blood vessels, the airways, and lymph vessels enter and exit the lung. It is sort of like the gateway.

If you haven't already, ask them directly what the results mean or at least what they're considering, or rather your husband should.
