There are oodles of things that can cause hoarseness:
laryngitis
post nasal drip
smoking
vocal nodules
thyroid issues
allergies
trauma
neurological disorders
straining the voice
ge reflux

I suggest you see a doctor to find out what is causing your hoarseness.
