Its getting to the point where my boyfriend doesn't even want to kiss me! At first I thought I had bad breath but its not. Its SNOT! It willl seep from my nose into my mouth and I can't stand it anymore. Now I have a cold and its quadroupled in odor. Even when I dont have a cold, I will have this on occassion where I can't cough anything up but I can still smell, taste and sense that I have nasal discharge but can't get rid of it. PLEASE HELP!!

I had bronchitis once that made my breath have a foul odor. Check with your doctor. This could be easily fixed with an antibiotic.

You can thin post-nasal drip so it doesn't accumulate into a thick, stinky blob by staying very well hydrated. Minimize its accumulation by using a humidifier in winter, year-round if you live in a desert climate. Smoking vastly increases its production. If you can't quit smoking, at least stop blowing smoke out your nose; it helps.

When you visit your doctor, besides the foul-smelling postnasal drip, ask him/her to check your tonsils for crypts. Essentially, they're holes left from infections where mucus or food debris may collect and eventually harden into a odorous mass that fills the crypt (and eventually pops out, sometimes with a moment of pain). If you do have crypts, you may need your tonsils removed, or at least to figure out a way to evacuate the crypts when they have anything in them, because no amount of brushing or mouthwash will eliminate the smell.

It is definitely an infection! I had this and let it go on for weeks. I thought it would go away on its own. I even tried homepathic cures because I hate to go to the doc. I tried apple cider vinegar which is extremely disgusting. Finally I went to the doc. He gave me a 10 day supply of antibiotics. I felt great in 2 days. Take all of the pills and don't miss a dose. Call your doc. right NOW!!!

I don't know what this is, but I had a boyfriend with this and I didn't like being close to his face. It was very bad, especially when he was sleeping, for some reason. If I were you, I would see an ENT physician.

Sounds like a sinus infection. See your doctor. Antibiotics might help.
