Can vegetarians drink Beefeater gin?

I will tell you what is in it and let you decide. Beefeater Gin is made from Juniper Berries, Seville Orange Peel, Almonds, Orris Roots, Coriander Seeds, Lemon Peel, Angelica Seeds, Angelica Roots and Liquorice. Those ingredients are added to a neutral liquor like vodka. Vodka is usually made from grain or potatoes. However, since it is pure 40% ethyl alcohol, it can be made much more cheaply and conveniently from sucrose (supermarket sugar). Since Beefeater's is using all of the other ingredients for flavor, they are probably using a liquor made from sugar. I do not see anything here that would prevent you from drinking it as a vegan, but I am not a vegan.

First of all like the on respondant, the beefeater has been the guard at the tower of london for hundreds of years, the name came from them being paid with meat in the middle ages.

As for the one respondats raising the filtering in gelatin or isglass, distilled alcohol is only filter if there are elements in it to be removed bourbon and some flavoured liquors, gin is a distilled grain alcohol which has a number of botanicals added along with spices, is steeped like tea, then redistilled to the final product.

They sure can! The absolute truth is that it's called beefeater gin because it is named after the special guards that guard or used to guard the Tower of London.....beefeaters. Hope this helps!
