Do you think this is a viable form of energy? If so, do you believe the "powers that be" (oil companies, governments, etc.) will ever allow there to be sufficient research and eventual use?

hi i have a great intrest in free energy/renewable energy , gravitation control, electronic health and alternative science...
It is currently against the laws of physics for perpetual motion to exist.....
However there have always been claims of it yet you cannot register a patent for any zero point energy device.
It is like the modern day alchemy.to find something for nothing, lead out of gold....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perpetual_motion

There is also a modern myth that this type of technology will one day save us all and serve the planet which is very far from the reality of the truth of the current energy situation.....
This is also the reason that people will refuse to admit there is a crisis...

There is also a multi million dollar market in selling crackpot free energy technologies and many fraudster have been covicted of claiming to withdraw energy from thin air.
There is always a hidden power cord to these perpetual motion machines....

Yet there are many that claim there are conspiracy's to cover up these technologies, such as Nichola Teslas famous Warden Cliff Tower..

Keep a very very skeptical mind in this field....
However this zero point energy is different to renewable energy from nature which is a entirely different concept and is considered free energy anyway....

Until we discover what this magical eather is that we will be harnessing and how to harness it, we will be harnessing energy within the laws of physics we best can eg. viable renewable energies that convert a naturally energy source into electricity or energy anyway.

As to if the government is suppressing this zero point technology and why and how is up to the conspiracy theorists to explain.

Zero point energy is a name that has been given to the quantum ground state energy, which is the lowest possible every level of each particle. There is no way to extract this remaining energy and therefore it is not useful as an energy source. This zero point energy has been seized upon as a possible energy source by people who believe in perpetual motion machines. It is magical thinking an not possible. Wikipedia has a very good summary of the subject, see the link below.

It is usually regarded as pseudo science. Probably there will never be any usable power gotten that way.

And nobody can stop research. All they can do is not support it. Not supporting it is NOT the same as "not allowing" it. I do not need permission from the government or any oil company to conduct energy experiments. I might need money, and the government or oil companies may not give me any, but someone else might. Or I could spend my own money doing the research.

This is just another "pump and dump" scam for penny stocks.

These characters dream up a plausible sounding solution to our energy problems, create a fake company and sell stock in the company to people who lack the scientifc background to determine that it is nothing more than a scam.

The line that the big oil companies are blocking this company is just part of the "pump and dump" scam for the perpetrators of the scam to explain to their victims why the company failed and they lost all their money.

Report this scam to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Good Evening Your Majesty. Stargate is perhaps the lousiest sci-fi TV show that I have ever seen. The plots are full of holes, the military tactics are laughable. The set dressing is by w@nkers. Why does an interstellar spacecraft use torches in sconces for lighting? Haven't they discovered kerosene lamps? Why is a quarry lit by braziers during daylight? Most of the light from the braziers would have gone upward where it would have been of little use. That was just one or two shows. You can freakin' guarantee if it's on Stargate it's cr@p.
