Okay, NOW when I hold my breath and move my upper torso back and forth, as if to crack my back, I get a sound coming out of my lower throat (a little higher than my collar bones). It basically sounds like raspy breathing, even though I'm not breathing. What could that be?

Probably just air shifting around in your throat / esophagus.

even after you completely forcefully push all the air out of your lung, there are still plenty of air in them, so even if you are not breathing, there are air traped in your body, and that will cause sound

you may not be breathing,but the oxygen you gasped in is circulating around your lungs,try to get out
