Go on weber.com they have millions of easy stuff to make on your grill. Usually indirect heat cooking has the best results. Try beercan chicken. All you need is meat, beer, and a buttcrack exposed and the rest takes care of itself.

Grilling is easy, you'll get the hang of it. The taste over charcoal is better but gas is so much easier, in my opinion.
Grill some veggies skewer, with peppers, mushrooms, add some pineapple, etc... etc..
Grill Beer Brats and serve on crusty brat rolls. Very yummy!
Go to allrecipes.com and find some fantatic grilling recipes
Hey, you're about 3 months ahead of the game so you'll be a pro by Labor Day, just get practicing.

Take a batch of this Bean Salad. The last time I took it to a picnic, what wasn't eaten went home with friends and then I had to give them the recipe since they all enjoyed it so much. AUGMENTED BEAN SALAD 1 can Green Beans 1 can Garbonzo Beans 1 can Wax Beans 1 can Artichoke Hearts 1 can Kidney Beans 1 Lg. Onion - slivered (Red is prettiest) Marinade: 3/4 cup Sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 cup Vinegar (Wine or Cider) 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/2 cup Salad Oil Drain liquids from cans and combine beans with onion in large non-metallic container. Make marinade. Pour over beans. Cover and refrigerate. A double recipe of marinade covers beans. Stir occasionally. Best made at least one day ahead.

Here's what you do. Get yourself some brats from the store. Dump them in a crockpot. Fill the crockpot with beer and onions. Drink the remaining cans of beer.
Cook on low for two hours. Grill for a couple minutes on each side. mmmmmmm

If you do chicken,
use apricot jam, lemon juice, oil, and some black pepper ...
do steak and serve it with a garlic-butter sauce with fresh basil
grill pieces of fresh pineapple, plain .... the juices come out as they are grilling and caramellize ..
