Basically, this guy was unhappy about the prince mistreating a fox on a royal hunt so he got this corgi that died of natural causes, cooked and ate it. Sounds really yucky to me but do you think it made any kind of point?

In the midwest, people actually do eat what they hunt. They do not eat the hunted meat out of necessity, but they eat it. What they do not buy/eat from the locker that cuts the meat for them is donated to homeless shelters and serves a great purpose. Most of the hunters I know put the animals out of their misery as well. If they know that they have not killed the animal, they immediately try to kill it. This is not just for the sake of cruelty, but to also preserve the food aspect of it. A startled and troubled animal is going to produce adrenaline which will not make the meat good to eat. There is a difference between dog fighting and hunting. Evidently you don't know any good hunters, or maybe here in the midwest, we do things the right way.

Don't you think that was a way of making a rather hypocritical statement? Obviously he's going about it the wrong way. It's only value was to get him in the news rather than addressing the issue of fox hunting. Besides I thought fox hunting was banned in England...?? All in all I think the guy's pretty much on the edge...and it certainly be all that shocking some asian cultures where eating dogs is considered ok.

No,I don't think it made any point. It got him publicity though, which might've been his goal. Now more people know about the incident with the Prince mistreating the fox,but most of the focus went towards the man eating the dog,not the mistretment of the fox.

No.

It justs contributes to the stereotype that all activists are insane or ultra-radical. Plus, that guy obviously wants some attention for himself as well as his "cause." It is a blatant call for attention that obviously worked, if your telling us about it.

I can't understand what it had to do with foxes. Was the prince eating a fox? I would think not.

i think it's F***ed up. it made a point because you asked about it and I answered it. Honestly - men hunt for sport. In the US they hunt deer. no body is eating the man who hunts, that guy was eating the hunter. eeeeeeewwwww. Pick a different battle dude.

Not really, that's pretty gross...I'd say that about any animal being eaten to prove a point about animal rights, not just coz it's a dog...Eww.

Pretty dumb thing. Then again someone is eating "hot dog" at this moment and IT isn't on the news.
