My husband and I are going on a trip and have to share a hotel room. We normally sleep in seperate rooms b/c of his snoring. I know I will not be able to sleep in the hotel with his LOUD snoring. I was thinking about some noice cancelling headphones or something like that so I can get some sleep that night too. I have treid earplufs and I can still hear him.

Ouch! Bose makes a set of acoustic noise cancelling headphones that works quite well. QuietComfort 2 and 3. Mainly used for intertainment, but also used for noise reduction. Both are very comfortable. The QuietComfort 3 is smaller. However both are pricy. $ 299.00 and $349.00. What price does one put on a good nights sleep?

I live it. My daughter and husband snore and between the two in the house I wan't to go sleep in the car sometimes. I use the foam ear plugs. You can still hear the snoring, but it helps. The other thing I do is get the noisiest fan you can find, plug it in right next to you. That helps drown out the noise. Good luck.

Instead of doing all that get him to a Doctor - Neurologists often do sleep studies for people who snore, and people who snore could have Sleep Apnea, and a variety of cardiac problems. It usually indicates a problem, and often this kind of thing can be treated. If he's snoring loud enough to keep you awake chances are he needs medical help. Sorry I didn't answer this how you wanted.

okay, my dad had sleep apnea, and gawd it was annoying! if your husband has it, go to a doctor and get this machine thing. (ask him for a snoring preventer) its small and travel-sized, or at least ours is. it makes a fuzzy kind of sound, but much better than snoring.

also, i think there is this nose-patch.

ear plugs made of wax can help. but you have to clean your ears before you put them in.
hope i help! ~♥

Have him get tested for sleep apnea. You will be amazed at how quiet nights can be.
