I use the vitamixer because it pulverizes the pulp. When you juice and remove the pulp, you are removing most of the nutrients and fiber. YOU NEED this.
With the vitamixer, you can add things that you wouldn't think possible and still get children to drink what you make. I like to use soy milk with berries, then add red cabbage for more fiber. You simply do not taste it.

I swear by my Jack LaLane juicer. It's a tad old now and has come down a bit in price. I wouldn't trade it for the world!
It does well with many fruit - including pineapple with the skin on. I also have no complaints when I put my leafy things in. As long as they are between something harder, they will juice just fine.

Champion Juicers work well.
If you get roasted peanut meal or roasted almond meal you can make your own peanut butter/ almond butter with them, too.
They're great.
