How about picking a special day and using the whole day to celebrate? Start with facials at your favorite spa, pedicures and manicures, get your makeup done, have your hair done and then its dinner out at your favorite restaurant. After dinner, if there is a club for minors, hit that for a while before having a great slumber party complete with gift bags for your friends, good movies (Johnny Depp anyone?), fun things to eat and the sweetest of dreams!

i know im younger than you but i have some ideas. when you have a small party you should do some thing small, but on the other hand your turning 16. so you could take your close friends to go see a movie. you could also just go hang out at your favorite place. just have fun. you only turn 16 once.

On my siste's sweet sixteen she took her three closes friends to a broadway show and dinner at a fancy restaurant afterwards.

How about a nice intimate dinner at your favorite restaurant? After dinner go back to watch your favorite movie(s) and/or some nice conversation.

have a make over night... have them spend the night... and do each others make up. nails hair.... have them all bring their girly stuff.. and have at it.. take pictures of the outcome and you will have memories forever!!!! have fun and happy sweet sixteen!

Take a beach trip or do a nice vacation.
Don't do the MTV thing. Friend did it and they ruined her party.
