Ok so for about a day and a half my heart would give a horrible pain about every 5 minutes that would last for only a few seconds. Im only 25 and I somewhat thought this might be heart problems but every one kept telling me that it was just heartburn. So I ignored it but the pain was still ongoing. I went out to eat with my mother and decided to have a glass of wine. The pain went away! Does anyone know what it could have been.

Sounds as if the heart pain was caused by stress. The glass of wine helped you to relax and the stress went.

Ah this sounds familiar. Don't worry. It seriously is a reaction to the wine, or the sulfites in the wine. I'm allergic to sulfa, so that explains it for me. For others, its the tanins. Either way, you should avoid wine. I don't think its worth the pain personally.

You sure its 'heart pain'? It could be muscle pain, heartburn, tendonitis of the tendons where your ribs meet your sternum. Anxiety will cause chest pains too...
