TB is transmitted through infected "droplets". The droplets are released when a person sneezes, coughs, or exhales forcefully. You have to be exposed to the germ in order to contract TB.

You can contract TB by eating products that have not been pasteurized. Milk if not pasteurized can expose the drinker to TB, so Cows, Goats, Ewe and all of the nice cheeses.

about one third of the world is infected with the TB bacillus. so chances are, you have been exposed. not everyone shows outward symptoms

you can't, somewhere along the line you have to be exposed.
