We are inviting 70 guests to our wedding this summer. Our venue is a Mansion House so no glasses available there. What's the best way around this problem? Hire or buy? And where from?! And how many glasses should I allow to take into account breakages/people wanting fresh glasses etc? Thanks.

I would suggest to contact a party supply company. But if you'd like to buy from Ikea. There are several in London. http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_GB/

If you buy the glasses, what are you going to do with them after the wedding? The best thing to do is to rent them. Look for a party rental store near you. They, I'm sure, will be able to tell you how many you will need to rent.
