The symptoms of dieabetes at first is hard to determine. This includes sick feeling, fatigue, frequent urination and exessive thirst. You know that if theres a lot of glucose "sugar" in your body, your body will try to get rid of it by urination.
Also it is true that people with diabetes urine attracts ants. it will only attract ants if his/her blood sugar is high. Some diabetic people says no because probably they have a good control of their blood sugar either by medications or insulin. so their urine will not contain that much sugar to attact ants

Only if sugar spills into the urine and then you pee on the ground. Why do you ask a question like this. Are you diabetic? I personally don't care. I am a diabetic and I am not going to let my sugar get so bad that it spills over. I try to keep it under control. So.........................no personal experience with ants! So sorry!

This would be an interesting experiment, but in dry times, ants are attracted to any type of moisture.
I have seen ants cover a urine-soaked carpet once, and the child who had the accident did not have diabetes.

There are easier ways to find pur if you have diabetes -- like a blood sugar test.

Pee thirsty ants wouldn't be the first sign. Go see your doctor if you're concerned. Family history, overweight, sudden weight loss/gain, pregnancy, polydipsia (always thirsty), funky breath are more reliable things to consider your risk.

that depends on how high your blood sugar is. If too high, you will spill sugar in your urine and then yes, if left where they can get at it, it will attract ants because of the sugar in it.
