If you have warts, whether it be hand warts or genital warts, you have HPV. There are non sexually transmitted kinds of HPV and sexually transmitted kinds of HPV. Warts found on the hands, feet, elbows, knees, etc are NON sexually transmitted kinds. Warts found on the genital area are sexually transmitted kinds.
You can't have hand warts in the genital area. If you have a wart in the genital area then it is a GENITAL wart, not a hand wart. Also, if it was a hand wart you could just treat it with medication at a local drug store like compound W. Aldara cream is specially used to treat genital warts.
I used Aldara when I had genital warts and it took about 5 weeks for the warts to completely go away. You have to be patient with this medication because it can take a while. Good luck!

Curious here...did you see the actual pathology report?
Did your doctor request specific HPV type test? Specific HPV type testing is usually reserve for research due to the high cost of this test. Have you had any sexual exposure?
Do you have an immune disorder?
Usually pathology only tells us it is a benign tumor which is what a wart is.
Genital HPV types are specific to the genital area. All warts are one of the 100 human Papillomavirus types. 30 HPV types are specific to the genital area. Hand and feet warts are not commonly found in the genital area
All warts are very contagious….tell future sex partners of your past warts of the genital area., even if you don’t consider it an STI…future partners may feel that you are withholding information.
Aldara is used for warts anywhere on the body and has also been approved for some skin cancers.
Aldara can cause irritation so use it carefully. Do not use soaps to wash the cream of the genital area. Rinsing with lots of water is usually enough...if you want to use a wash product use some of the no soap products such as basic or aveeno. If the area become extremely irritated stop use for a day or two then resume. Epsom Salt baths can help the irritation and help the healing.
Good luck in clearing your warts of the genital area.

I have been using aldara for a little over three weeks and it has worked well for me. I have genital warts (HPV). Aldara burns and itches, but it works. I used it more than I was suppose too.

Moles, warts, and skin tickets are normal skin wounds that develop naturally. Even though they are typically non dangerous, they could be uncomfortable if found on an obvious part including the face. Epidermis lesions like moles and warts cause self esteem problems to the sufferers. A person with moles normally becomes a loner since they do not wish to be seen in public. They feel uncomfortable to be out in public places, so depression can obviously follow but you can now modify all this with this manual from here https://tr.im/gpH4P , Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal eBook.
The author of this eBook, Charles Davidson, is really a practitioner in alternative medicine. He's also an expert in natual skin care, applying organic treatments to cure various kinds of skin conditions.
Moles, Warts and Skin Tags Removal program is really a 100% organic program, established to get rid of epidermis deformities such as epidermis tags, moles, and warts, no matter how big or small they are. It is also safe to use on children.

I say forget that other medication and use the aldara I used that and it was great it went away very fast and it doesn't cause burning or itching it actually relieves those symptoms but if you want to use the other medication because the doctor told you different go ahead but apply it in the night time after you shower if you apply it in the morning you should wash it off after like 5 to 6 hours and put on a new application before bed but I really reccomend the aldara its way better it did wonders for me

im actually seeing my doctor about an adverse reaction im having to the stuff. it dries me up really bad that it hurts to shower. the only area that doesnt seem to dry up and get fixed are the warts. my dick started pussing something that looks like snot. this is nasty stuff.
take it easy, dont use too much, and wash it off after 7 or 8 hours. also, dont take any left over in the package and just rub it into your skin to get rid of it, ive read other people have done that and its caused them alot of problems.
