First talk to your vet about the problem, there may be something they can do. Second, Our pets need quality pet food. Read the ingredients list and learn what the stuff on there is and what it does (or does not do) to/for our pets. A quick pet food 101. If the pet food contains corn/corn products or by products it is a poor quality food. Do not pay attention to advertising, they all say there food is great. Corn is a filler that can trigger skin problems. (allergies, skin problems, itching and excessive shedding) By products is anything from an animal not fit for human consumption, including cancerous tissue. Exercise never hurts. I would speak to my Vet first. If it's alright with him, I would try a product called "Nutrical". Available at any pet store at the counter, this product, has a lot of nutrients and a taste dogs can't resist. You put some of the product on your finger and let the dog lick it off. Then you put a bit on the food and stir it around. I have yet to have a pet that didn't go for it. Ask your Vet about it. Good luck.

More exercise, also rotate his feed in other words vary his food type.Dogs should be wormed regularly to counteract parasites, which could affect his appetite.Make sure he gets plenty drinking water and i find a spoon of cod liver oil in his food now and then gives him a lovely coat, but exercise is essential.

If she does not take the med with food then you have to put it down the throat. you might try baby food to get the dog to eat more food. Also ask your vet.

I would ask the vet as medications shouldn't be mixed teh vet would know your dog and the meds it's on so they would be the best to ask.
