Some dogs are lactose intolerant and others have no problems with dairy product, all 4 of mine are okay with milk,
Dogs that are lactose intolerant will get upset tummies and or diarreaha
I agree with checking with the vet to see if the med you are giving will have an interaction wth the calcium in milk. I know with Tetracycline class drugs( a type of antibiotic) lose their effectiveness if given with diary products
You may find out if that is th case from this site that list several veterinary drugs

I was always told not to feed my dogs milk but I was told that it was because they are a large breed and it's not good for their bone growth to be given too much milk.
To answer your question, I did my usual google search and was startled to find out that most dogs area apparently lactose intolerant.
What I don't understand is why you are giving your dog milk with the epilepsy medicine. Did your vet tell you to do this?
I know the ice cream treats for dogs specifies that it is a non-milk product.
You need to talk to your vet and see if it's ok to give milk with the medicine. If the vet told you to do this, then ask the vet about the lactose intolerance.
It may be that your dog's medicine has to be given with a small amount of milk. but maybe you can give it with a dog formula that is a milk substitute. Milk can cause the dog to have diarrhea.

if you've given your dog food before giving the med with milk, then it should be fine.. but if there was no food given before the milk, then there is a problem.. sure, dogs can be lactose intolerant but the mere giving of milk with the med will just give gastric acidity or gastritis... give her water instead.. are you having a hard time of giving the med without the milk? ask me again... i might help you. coz im not sure what med you are giving in case you're having a problem with giving it without milk.. but so far, as for your question.. those where my answers already. hope i've helped.

to much milk can give the dog diarrhea. Just a little once in awhile is ok. So to give the med with milk is ok if the med is a liquid. you might try using something else to give it with if it is a solid med.

IN most cases it should be fine the only way to be sure is to call your vet and ask there.
the reason I say this is some meds might loose the potency if mixed with liquids. YOur vet knows your dog and teh meds perscribed.
Good Luck

depends on the breed of the dog, and how much you give it.
