would you fly JETSTAR again?

Have you had a bad experience with Jetstar? I was not impressed when I had to pick up my luggage in Melbourne then hoof it up to the next floor and rebook into Jetstart to fly to Launceston. I won't fly Jetstar again. How about you?

I would not fly Deathstar if I needed to be at my destination on time. Vacation maybe if there were no connections. I have had them cancel flights because they had not sold enough tickets. The next flight, onto which we were switched was comfortably full. My assumption is that they just combined the flights.

I also would be reluctant to fly with them for anything but a short flight.

I've only flown with them once, but both my husband and myself enjoyed the flight. We thought it was better than Virgin Blue. The only problem with Jetstar in Melbourne is that they hardly fly out of Melbourne Airport (if at all?). But yes, I would fly Jetstar again.

I have flown frequently with Jetstar and have had no problems at all. I have found the staff to be efficient, courteous and helpful and the conditions are well explained when you get the ticket. I also fly with QANTAS. I refuse to fly with Virgin Blue, I would rather walk.

Was this for a connecting flight arriving in Melbourne..then flying off to Tassie?

If so, Jetstar does NOT provide connecting flights for their passengers, you must pick up your baggage and then re-check for your connecting flight. This is all in the terms and conditions. You agreed to this service when you made the booking, so next time read them. If you dont want this service, then give up paying for a cheap ticket and fly QANTAS! Thats why its called a 'budget airline'.

I've only ever had bad service on Jet star - I won't fly with them again ever again ...
