Invite him over for dinner and tell him that either you sit and talk or he will have to stop visiting.
Ask him if he is hoping to reunite or if he is lonely and wants to be around someone that knows him.

If he avoids answering your questions, tell him that you need him to stay away for a while. If he wants you back, the distance may convince him that you plan to move on and he may start being open with you.

My ex used to visit often and pretend that he was considering reuniting. Until he asked to stay the night and I caught on to his game. I was the person he came to when his current fling was unavailable.

Well, it seems that he can't get over this relationship but he is a bit afraid of you to get to the point and that is why he just leaves by saying that he will talk to you later.
So he will soon start telling or you can just ask him what he is up to. But it would be better to wait and see what it comes from him.

Sounds like he still is confused. You dont mention if sex is involved but if it is, that sounds like the reason hes coming over. He may be missing you and still deciding what to do with the relationship but if I was you, dont base your decisions on him. If he loves you, surely he wouldnt be so "confused".

well maybe he still want u back in his life but after knowing that he is the one who has issues so he felt kind of embaressed to ask u to comeback so he took the "signe" way which is coming to ur house ex....so if u really want him back try to give a signe if it's not try to talk to him by telling him that u n him it's over so it's kind of annoying to come to ur house ....

Unless you're really the one your ex usually goes to for advice, or at least thinks you give good advice, its nothing more. Else your ex is coming around hoping to stir things up and get back with you... or at least try to make you jealous or spy on you lol

It sounds like he really does not know what he wants. He may be lonely and you are a comfortable person to him it is hard to give that up. even if he was the one with issues. he may now be deciding he wants you back just ask him what is going on with him.

He misses you, but he's not sure of what he wants. Don't let him use use you and keep you hanging. it will be hard for you to move on if he is keeping you close for his own benefit.

He left you. Tell him not to come over anymore. It has to end somewhere.

he is obviously confused , and misses you , you can either not give him any interaction , and it will discontinue , or you can talk to him , either way , if nothing is said , and you dont talk , the situation will fizzle out!

ask him and see how he reacts.

if he seems strightforward, hes being honest.

if hes kind of rambling.. not really giving a clear answer.. youll have to do more digging..
