Go for low carbo foods ,cut out sugar & sweets ,drinks
eat less bread , potatoes, more fruit veg
Cut down on fatty foods cut takeaways or fast foods
Go for low GI foods
Eat smaller proportions
Exercise a lot more walking is a good start

try to eat more natural, cut out cakes, crisps, coffee etc. learn to love fruit and veg! fish is excellent protein and try eat wholewheat carbohydrates, so no white bread.
