What is REALLY difficult to understand is why so many mean-spirited people (apparently like yourself) find it necessary to attack the beliefs of others?
Does your attack make you feel big? smart? superior?
See ref link 1 below.
If the believers are wrong, so what?
If they do you no harm, so what? (and don't try to rely on the cause of wars argument, it's old and out of date).
On the other hand, if they are RIGHT you might be in for some serious agony / grief either after your death or after the next spiritual leader arrives.
Anyhow, an answer that has been recorded in literature for at least 1,000 years is that God isn't hiding or hidden - he/she/it is acting right before your eyes right now and every moment.
Maybe 'hiding' in plain sight is too subtle for people lacking sensitivity or faith (not the same as belief).
If you think this doesn't apply to you, answer an age-old question: where does the thought you just thought / experienced / had come from?
When you can seriously and accurately answer the question about the source of thought, you will not ask the question about hiding God. Guaranteed.
Another good answer is given in reference 2 below.

God did make Himself seen. Jesus said:"He who has seen Me has seen the father." God will reveal Himself again soon - Jesus is coming back. Inthe meantime, keep the faith. There is so much we cannot see- wind, electricity, emotion. We can see their effects,. If U can believe in things U cannot see because of their effects, why can U not believe in a God U cannot see. Ask Him to prove Himslf to U. He will. R U up for it? Hope this helps.

Christians don't "hide" God: If anything they try to shine his light by telling other people about him. There's just no way to physically prove him [that's where the blind-faith comes in].
God gives you the CHOICE to believe, do certain things, think [free will], thus not FORCING you to believe [also by not making himself present and seen].

I can think of many reasons NOT to believe in a God, but just because you can't see him would not be one of them. That is probably the lamest excuse atheists have for their belief system. There are a myriad of things in the universe we can't see. Not being able to see God does not seem as fantastic as you make it out to be.
BTW, I am not Christian nor Muslim in case you were wondering.

What's next is what has always been. He has placed The Spirit of truth inside you, there is no need to go looking anywhere. Anything you need to know about yourself, God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, or satan will be shown to you if you really want to know. As long as you are not sure if you want to know, you won't. Be smart, stop resisting the truth.

Does it matter what I say? You're not going to believe in God from anything I say.
All I can say is that it would be too easy for people to believe if God did things so amazing that there would be no other choice than to believe. God wants everyone to choose for themselves.

He is Allaah..
The First: Nothing is before Him.
The Last: Nothing is After Him.
The Most High: Nothing is Above Him.
The Most Near: Nothing is beyond His Reach.
He Begets Not, Nor was He Begotten.
The Creator, Provider, and All-Rich.
The All-Seer, The All-Knower.
He is One and Self-Sufficient.
He is not Nature, or any part of it.
He ascended above His Throne, High above the Seven Skies.
No Vision can encompass Him, but
His Grasp is over all vision..
Such Is Allaah
Nothing Is Like Unto Him
The All-Hear, The All-Seer

In response to the space-time continuum, the general theory of relativity does not have any electromagnetism in it. I read this in a basic highschool physics textbook. It seems to make sense as well. You need the photoelectric effect as well to make sense of the universe we actually live in.
Therefore, I don't know about God, but we certainly can live in a world that's not just about the space-time continuum. I know that I personally like making decisions about both space and time simultaneously. I think this is called freedom in Christ, as opposed to democracy which means that you give up some of your personal freedoms in exchange for protection of your rights. The Pharisees of Jesus' day, who bound up heavy loads for people that they would not touch themselves, and had a thing for purity and separation, were more eclectic and democratic than their Sadducee counterparts, who did not believe in the resurrection. This is not the same as the freedom promised by slaves of depravity in 2 Peter 2:19.
"They promise them freedom [eleutheria - encompassing the idea of "true liberty is living as we should not as we please"], while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for 'people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.'"
A commentary on eleutheria - it is false humility to submit to a sense of "should." The Bible says that there is nobody righteous - not even one. "Should" belongs to the world of mythology, which the Bible condemns. We don't play roles for God. True freedom in Christ is living as we please. If being Christian didn't please us, why would we do it? I think that Christianity is like autism plus prayer. The non-psychiatric meaning of autism is to put your own wants and needs first. We are encouraged to think of where we are getting our food and clothes from - God's Kingdom. (Matthew 6:31-34) Compare also 1 Corinthians 3 about God's temple, which is us (Christians). If anybody hurts it, God will hurt him. This liberty, I think, can be appealed to by the so-called creativity spirituality, where creativity is worshipped as the ideal of existence. It is, actually, but imagination is not the same as creativity. The Bible condemns imagination, which essentially means finding a way forward for your feet by means of images (compare Isaiah 65:2; Proverbs 6:18; Ephesians 6:15; Jude 8). Creativity means that there is no circumcision, nor uncircumcision. (Galatians 6:15) Actually, that might be a bit of a paraphrase.
I was a good flute player when I was a child. I was an excellent flute player. I played with real emotion, which is not the same as being "emo." Emotion is not the same as imagination either. You would never get anywhere if you had to keep images before you to know where you're going. 2 Timothy 3:6 talks about little women who have "diverse lusts" or desires of many colours. This could be an allusion to the "enlightenment" that Satan offers. We're still getting there and evolving towards it. Light is a many-ventured project. However, God has already provided it. This thought is brought out in 2 Corinthians 11 which puts "manthano" (learnt) in second aorist, which means simple past tense in a punctiliar fashion. The disciples learnt the gospel and then it was learnt. However, the women in 2 Timothy 3 are "always learning." This is like Satan dragon' people through his dragnet, seeking enlightenment. He uses the anger generated by stolen family ties that he holds tightly in his hand to try to generate light. He's still working on Genesis 1:3. This can occur if people believe in mythology - the idea that people experience fates and fortunes in life that are intimately bound up with the actions of others and how well they perform their role. Mythology is enacted as a public liturgy. It is neither true, nor false. It is merely effective. It needs the agreement of participants to play all the roles. It is the ethic that salvation comes from perfection in one's performance in life, as opposed to coming from Christ, due to our own inability to save ourselves.
This goes along with ideas where true artists are sexually liberal etc.
God's not like the mist. People are. (James 4:14) And collections of idols are blown away by the wind. (Isaiah 57:13) This might be our cherished ideas.
I think God's reality is the same as ours, due to Jeremiah 1. God asks Jeremiah what he sees. Jeremiah sees an almond branch. God says: You see correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled. The Hebrew word for "watching" is the one that "almond" is derived from. It's a pun. God can see what we can see, if we are his servants.
However, a feature of misbehaviour is that people don't see. Romans 11:8
"as it is written: 'God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day."
And God's eyes are too pure to look on evil. Habakkuk 1:13 - "Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing. Why then do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than themselves?"
