I mean, the whole story sounds silly and illogical.
Why didn't God descend Jesus to earth, like he ascended him to the sky? Did he really. This mythology was made up according to the jewish culture then, when adultery was seen as a majir sin. I can't believe there are people in the 21st century who still believe this story. I'm amazed! Seems like most people are mythology lovers.

Jesus never taught he was a God, The word son was used for many other Prophets also in Bible. Jesus teachings were to worship One God, the father in heaven. Jesus was a messenger of God.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord our God is one Lord:" (Mark 12:29)
"And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God." (Mark 10:18).

Hello lets get first just who Jesus Christ really is, first in Hebrews 13:8 we understand Jesus has always been with The Father, and in Hebrews 1:5-9 we understand The Father Himself address Jesus as God, in John 8:58 He is called The I AM of Exodus 3, Moses and the burning bush and in John 1 we understand Jesus is the active member of The Godhead that created this world, when Mankind sinned they as it were pulled the plug on life, and so God came to be born of a woman in Human flesh so as to first show mankind and angles and other beings looking on Just what God was like plus Jesus had to live a perfect life so as to proove it can be done, He gave up His divine body and gave up His very life for you, He when He returned to The Kingdom of God did not take up again His divine body but kept the human one WITH the marks He got while here, with all the proof of inspiration on The Holy Bible, with the fact it was written over a 1500 year period by 44 people and it still does not disagree with itself with prophecy and all the proof the holy bible has that it is what He says, i would have to understand what your saying is a myth, not The Holy Bible perhaps you can offer some proof and make it as beleivable as The Holy Bible is, not to mention the changed lives, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org talk to me also wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

It has something to do with the Holy Ghost (Luke a million:35) "sons of God" in interest a million:6 could be precise understood because of the fact the angels. Your Psalm interpreting must be "gods" (except this observe is Capitalized, this is no longer a real God, yet a counterfeit and an idol or an imitation.

Being born to Mary, who was a descendant of David, was another fulfillment of prophecy. The Jewish religious leaders, even though they didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah, knew he would come as a descendant of David, (Matthew 22:42).

God's plan was that his Son should be both God and man. As God Christ has the power to forgive sin and redeem mankind, as a man He experienced all of the things that make us human (except for sin) and thus he knows what it means to suffer. His human nature came from Mary, his mother. His divine nature came from God the Father. So yes, Mary's pregnancy was essential in order for Christ to be fully human.

It seems that you believe in God, for you acknowledge His power " to descend Jesus to earth". Why does He do things the way He does ? I agree it's intriguing. If you are genuinely interested, you do need to study the Bible (all of it, but especially the New Testament) and seek an evangelistic Church to find the answers you are looking for. - It's too involved for this medium. May the Holy Spirit guide you.

Yes mary's pregnancy was essential. and yes you're 100% right, it was definetly apart of jewish culture and that is apart of why the immaculate conception is so significant. The bloodline is carried through the sperm....therefor, Jesus was from the womb of a woman with the bloodline of God...meaning he was entirely man and entirely God.....meaning he was able to be the ultimate sacrafice so that no one would have to go to hell.

Well Adam, the first man, lost the world to the devil when he sinned. The only way to get it back was for man to get it back, but as sinners it is impossible. So God sent his son, Jesus, down to earth as man, a human being like us to save us from eternal damnation. So you see he couldn't decend him from the sky cos human beings aren't dropped from the sky.

Oh and Mary was a virgin and she was going to be married to Joseph anyway. Jesus wasn't concieved naturally anyway.

God needed a man to be killed that was sinless to replace the yearly sacrifice. Jesus needed to come to live a life free of sin so we could have the faith to stop sinning.

because ..God wanted so..i myself wondered this...but we shouldn't.wonder..God is too smart for us..we musn't be that smart..we are nnot God..and we must be people..and obey...

if God dropped Jesus..i guess...the world would have wished to go with him..and it would have been the end of the world..because we could hardly live after we see God..we want to go with him..in Heaven..anyway..many people have believed Jesus was son of God..because there was the prophecy..and they have been happy when Jesus was with them..they lived like in paradise..their eyes have seen their salvation..as somebody said.....but there were bad people..actually Jesus said He came for sinners ..not for those who were right the sinners who didn't love the things of God..and you know..the world must continue..we live..marry give birth to children...God made this life for us..for many people..there are much more people on the earth now..then in the moment when Jesus came..and there will be..so many will be born..because they are born not for this life who is short..they are born for the happiness of seeing God..and for Heaven...so let's let them come to life..
