Why should you care what religious people think if they are preaching to you then by all means tell them off but if they aren't bothering you then why would you even bother with what they believe.

Yes.
James 4:13, 14 says: "Now listen, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.' Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."
How would you know that the cure has happened? It's an ongoing thing, this thing we call "life." A cure is what makes concrete dry more slowly or makes ham smoky.
Realise that people are not just the roles that they play. Mythology uses roles. Mythology requires many teachers, according to 2 Timothy 4:3, 4. It is a public liturgy, according to Karen Armstrong. It uses a sense of loyalty to the group. This is why the Bible says to actually avoid those who teach a different gospel to the one Christians already believe. Proverbs 14:10 says that nobody else can know the bitterness and joy of the heart.
Jesus put it like this.
Matthew 11:29
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

There is no "cure".But there is medication.Take some common sense and call me in the morning.
Of course, most people who believe in a religion don't want that medication.

I'm glad that I am not one of those. It's a relationship, not a religion when you have it right.
