Is there anyone out there that waited for years to tell somebody that you are in love with them?

You like and fell in love with somebody, you think abt her/him all the time and you feel that this is the person you've been looking for but you didn't have the guts to say it,but the both of you keep in touch everyday,so is there anyone out there who waited for years to finally tell them that you are in love with them from the first moment you knew them??
and maybe the other party admired you too but the both of you didn't have the guts to tell each other.

Yes. I knew the second I saw him it was meant to be love. We were best friends for two years before I told him. Why? Because he's nearly seventeen years younger, and very attractive (and I'm not). Just goes to show that if you know it's meant to be, you may be right, no matter what the obstacles are.

I knew her since 2nd grade, and she was my neighbor. She was probably the girl I felt most comfortable with. She was an tomboy and I was one of those stupid hormonal teenage boy that lust for the tv models. In the beginning of 10th grade I finally figured out that I liked her, and she liked me too. We dated, all the way until the end of 11th grade and broke up one month before summer. I was stupid and dated another girl, which led to an unplanned pregnancy my senior year of high school. I didn't love the other girl, it was just a mere attraction. After she found out about me having an baby we havent talked much, just "hi's" and "how are you doing". After graduation she left out of state to go to college, and I haven't seen her since.

This was 8 years ago. I'm not with my son's mother, havent been since a month after he was born.

I regret not telling her how I felt back then, and I think about her so often.

I'm guessing you ask this question because you are in the situation you mentioned. If so, I suggest you tell that person how you feel, no matter what. If he/she don't feel the same way, don't be down...at least you have it off your chest.

Yes, there is this guy name brady who i have known since freashman year and know we are seniors, i knew i was in love with him about 3 months after we knew each other but i never told him because he had a girlfriend, do we became best friends, he never knew how i felt until a month ago, i moved to anthor state to go to school, i never had a chance to say goodbye, so i sent him a letter and told him how i felt, i tryed to call him but he hung up on me before i got more than 5 words out of my mouth, i now know that i should of told him a lot sooner and mabye we would still be talking, but know i am still trying to get him to talk to me, i wish i would of did things diffrent. Interesting... Thats what happen to me. We been together for so long, and I've told him I loved him. But he did not say anything. When I giving up and I asked him not to call me anymore, he asked me back, why I do this to him. Really don't understand. I think better you don't say anything to him. Let he say it first..
