What do you put in wonton wrappers? Also are they best steamed, fried or baked in the oven?
Thanks.

crab ragoon is most common in wonton wrappers! but i suppose you can put any thing in them, cream cheese and ciniamon are good for a dessert wonton, and they are best fried. hope this helps.

I like to put taco meat in them and then dunk them in nacho cheese. Also, the mix for crab rangoon. I always bake them. I think that wonton wrappers hold so much oil if they are fried or too soggy if they are steamed.

I like to put them into mini muffin tins and bake them so that you get a whole bunch of wonton cups. Then I make up a mixture of shredded chicken, shredded carrots, cilantro, green onion, soy sauce, ginger and a little garlic. I fill the wonton cups with the mixture. YUMMY!

Everything. Pork is standard. sometimes I combine pork and shrimp with chives or geen onion. Water chestnut gives a crunchy texture to the pork. I make raviolis with them some times. I use to make it with Cheddar and ground beef. I pan fry those. You can cut them in circles and mstuff them to make sui mei, a pork dumpling. I seen it stuff wtih fish paste. Wonton skin is very versatile.

I've always made crab rangoon with them. Just crab, cream cheese, a squeeze of lemon, a bit of garlic powder, and some chopped green onion. And fry them. God they're great.

i put in minced pork, diced prawns, chopped water chestnuts, chopped spring onions, egg, soy sauce, and pepper.

love them fried :) if baked, you need to spread oil on them before baking--also good :D steamed is definitely healthiest!!!
